  16. You can connect two modems to the same phone line, and you can connect
  17. both modems to the same computer (and if you run something resembling an
  18. operating system you can access both modems at the same time), but of
  19. course you can't *use* both modems at the same time, so I can't see any
  20. sense in this setup.
